Lost steering

After installing Pat's new monsters I decided to spin the wheel and make sure the new rudders clear at hard over. Cranked on the wheel (first time since November) and nothing happened. Wheel spins very freely, like air is in there. Never noticed any leaks and the fluid in the reservoir is up where it should be. Any thoughts? other than replace that damn Hynautic System with something else.
