I've had my 28 for 14 years. Repowered in 2001 with 4BTA Cummins. I have 1000+ hrs, and except for injectors, which they will replace under policy, I have no complaints. If you like your 28 now, you will love it with diesels. The only legitmate options that I can see are the 4btas or the yanmars.
