Cummins 6BT 210

I was chatting with a Cummins salesman yesterday at the PB Boat Show. I have to explaine I have little respect for most salesmen as they would lie and weazle around the facts to make the sale.
I got there as he was bashing Yanmar, basicly saying they were a POS and wont last, anything to make the sale. I was looking at the reman 6B's and he was tring to tell me his friends 31 with 210's would cruise at 26 and top out at 29 knotts. Now I find this hard to believe and told his so but true to salesman the customer was NOT right. BTW the price for the reman 6BT 310 was just under the price of the Yanmar 6LP new.I am curious at the numbers you guys are getting with with the 250 4BT and 6BT and could you expect a 26 knott cruise with the 210's. I would like to drop in the 4cyl 250's but I think the 6's would have a longer life span. We have 1 3/8
shafts right now and I would like to keep them and not upgrade to 1 1/2 .Thanks,
