Its a reverse cycle, it's brand new,it's 120v (good thing since my genny doesn't do 240) and I'm painting my hull dark blue so she'll be getting warmer. I am also getting Thuddd to make my side sliding windows into 1 piece set in rubber so I will be able to keep some glass in the hole. These all add up to a hotter boat. Uv recomends 16k btu for his clime so should be over kill for Md.Oh yeah and it has the dial controls as opposed to the programable that I have been advised against.My 12k unit is a crusty dead mess down on my pier next to some dead 8d's (gotta clean up down there)so it's time.
