I was aware of that and the surprising thing is that this exact frame came out of same opening for cleaning up and painting as well as new glass. When we try to get it back in the same hole it came out of - the bottom part of the frame fits perfectly but the forward vertical part is almost 1/2" too far aft as if the fixed frame in the boat had shifted forward that amount- and the aft part that curves up to form the upper horizontal leg of the slider frame is almost 3/4" too low. Their is no evidence of movement of the pilaster/ gunnel area. We have tried jacking the hardtop up using hull stringers as a lower support- also using the boat yard screw jacks since she is out of the water on keel blocks- anfd trying to wrack her a bit but she is not moving- also put her in the water for a few hours - all produce no effect. I am at the point of making a pattern of the window opening as it is and taking frame to local welder of thin materials and let him modify frame to fit opening. Then get new glass again!
We were concerned that her being out of the water for 8 months and being trucked around a bit with no galley, dinette, decking, or guard rail has caused her to twist but we sure can't untwist her by force. Maybe we should find a feng shui guy or a psychedelic to talk to her!
