Yanmar ain't goin nowhere with the market share they command.

The 160 to 260hp engines are being developed and made by BMW in the town of Steyer in Germany.
They need the high productivity of BMW to provide development and manufacturing of tier two emission standards. Cummins and Cat are doing the same.

The 6LP/315 is still Yanmar/Toyota and the LY series is still Yanmar. Both series engines are made in Georgia.

The 9hp to 129hp are still Yanmar.

BTW, the 6LP/315 is the only mechanical engine to meet tier two regulations with their two stage injection.

The Yanmar 720 and 900 hp are being made by Scandia in Sweden.
