My dad was a welder of exotic metals. He was sent all ove rthe world back in the 1970's and 80's to weld stainless, titanium and other metals that can withstand high pressure and heat, in reactors and heat exchangers. The stuff he welded was 100% x-rayed. That means every inch of weld was inspected visually and with x-rays. No runs no drips no errors. And therefore no explosions or blowouts. He was one of a select group of guys who could meet the 100% x-ray challenge in the industry at the time. Technics have improved; but as Captain Pat said it takes a skilled craftman to get it right on every inch of weld. I can assure the guys who weld aluminum tanks and pipe towers are not up to the task. Just be careful of your fabicator and their level of experience.
