She's home!!!

Linda & I made the 40 mile trip home with the new toy yesterday, what a trip. Weve been tooling around in the 25 for the last 5 years and bragged about the handeling and proformance. Well now we felt the way of the force, just unbeliveable. We left the Palm Beach inlet knowing there were small craft advisories up with the building seas due to the north wind. I set a spread and started trolling and yes indeed the seas were building, I figure 6 to 8' and a long trip ahead so we pulled the plug & rode the ditch. My arm hurts from all the waving to the boat loads of lookers checking her out. I can't believe how east these babbies are to dock, being used to outdrives. I removed and installed new rudder shelves, jacked & replaced the cutlass bearings and did a complete bottem job including expoy tie-coat on the running gear and still have a to do list as long as my fore arm. At least I get to look at her every time I come & go and the marina is a 9 iron shot from the house. Today were going to take the 25 out for one more ride and put her on the market.
I'm too excited to sleep!
