Since I did not respond on the fuel burn:
As to fuel burn, I have found that they are all really similiar below 2400, after that the higher hp 6bta's will burn quite a bit more if you use the boat a lot. If you use it on weekends, there will be little difference to you.
For me, a typical 30 mile out fishing day:
210hp 31 = 50 gallons
~300hp 31 = 59-70 gallons
It all comes down to the guy driving, and how fast he needs to go.The boats are not just chugging around trolling, but a lot of in and out of gear, and up and down on the throttles. Standard trolling burns less.
