Three line system with a pressure tank is the only way to go. The smallest leak will manifest itself with a pressure drop on the tank gauge, long before you lose steering from fluid loss. The Capilano helm is just a variable displacement pump. You can change how fast the rudders turn for the same wheel movement. I have NEVER seen this as a necessity. When you buy the pump/ram assembly, pair them for approx 5-7 turns hard over to hard over.
