I just finished printin out your answer for my permanent files. Thanks.

The guys at Raymarine are telling me that the shoot-thru set up will cost sensitivity for fish readings and the through hull is the only way to go. I would sure like to rule out a new hole in the bottom of Triton II. If I could only find a way to identify the transducer on my old Furuno color video unit, I hear it might be adapted to the new unit...which would solve all of the problems.

So the question is, are you satisfied with the readings from the shoot-thru set up?
