42' Bertram Project Boat *LINK*

There is an interesting 42' Bertram available through Certified Sales. It is listed as sold but I just spoke with the broker and the deal did not go through. They are lowering the ad at Yacht World to $39,000.oo but it sounded like they would sell it for mid thirty something.

It is a hurricane boat, but at that price it seems like it would make a great project even if you had to scrap the engines, etc. Is this a great opportunity to build a quarter million dollar yacht or a money pit?
