I just saw it last nigt in a copy of Souther Boating. I get the impression that the guys at Merc said "Hey IPS wasn't a joke, we'd better come up with something like that".. Though I do ageree at least they pointed the props in the right direction.

Another interesting cummins-merc development is the diesel jet-drive, now that's a neat concept. If it didn't cost an arm and 2 legs it would be neat on my B20, to give me some skinny water access.
