In Response To: Sintra, Azec, & Versatex questions (Peter)

I have used the 3/8 Azek board (thinest it comes) for cockpit sides and ceiling panels. I haven't only screwed it into place in places where Bertram used 1/4 plywood. It holds screws well and is substantial. It is heavier than the 1/4 plywood but then its also thicker. It takes two people to properly install one of the cabin ceiling pieces but thats also true of the original plywood do to the size of the panel. I also made a azek replacement for the peice behind the dinnette table. I made a booze bottle rack into this panel and screwed it all together rather than glue it. I have been very happy with the product and continue to use it whenever possible. I made v-berth ceiling panels of azek today. The test will be if I can bend them enough to get them through the small opening.
