Sintra, Azec, & Versatex questions

I am looking to do a little updating in my boat's interior as well as side panels in the cockpit. Sintra, Azec, and another competitor of Azec called Versatex are all possible options. My questions are for anyone who has experience working with any of these products.

How are they weight wise?
How easy/hard are they to work with, and are any special tools or supplies needed?
How well do they join to themselves? What sort of fasteners work well? Will they hold a screw for instance?
What do the cut edges look like and how are they finished? Do you sand and fill, or do you band the edges, or do you cap the exposed edge with something like wood trim?
Will epoxy or polyester resins bond to them? And by extention epoxy or polyester fillers?
How will they hold fittings, like will a coat hook stay put, or a fire extinguisher bracket?

They say experience is the best teacher.....if you can afford the tuition!

Thanks in advance, Peter
