Martha's Vineyard rendezvous *LINK*

OK Guys here’s an update. I have been told that 20+ boats are signed up at this point. We will be placed together right in front of the Wesley house. This is a great spot. It is a short walk to town, but the showers/bathroom and liquor store are right there. Also it is closer to where the dinner will be held. I have rented the East Chop Beach Club for that Saturday and am in the process of finding a caterer. The thing I really need from all those who signed up is an e-mail telling me who you are and how many people you are bringing. Also those of you who wish to come, but wont be coming by boat, please e-mail me also. I need a general head count for dinner. I know several of you have e-mailed me earlier, but we are missing a lot of you.
The dinner will be a little different than in the past. It will be held at a private beach club for just Bertram people. The goal is to have everybody that comes to the rendezvous show up for the party at the beach club. I want to bill this as a party that has food, not a dinner. In the past a large portion would not attend the dinner do to people who did not wish to spend that kind of money. I did not go because with three children who don’t like lobster I couldn’t justify the $300 to attend. So this will be a $20 to attend (pays for the beach club rental) and then approximately $30 per head for dinner for those of you who wish to eat. You can bring your own food, but please tell me in your e-mail whether you would like to eat the catered food (Cook out/beach party style on open flame). Further, the advantage of the private club is it has to be a BYOB type party or open bar. By the way you pass a liquor store while walking to the party. There will be ice for mixed drink, cups, limes, lemons, etc and probably a keg, but bring what you wish to drink.
Another thing that would help me is if someone out there could set up a web site to take names, etc. so that I don’t have to sort through the e-mails and so I can post updates.
Please see attached link to the satellite picture. Obviously this picture was taken in the winter, but you can see the layout. We will be berthed in the south west corner (lower left), town starts in the south east corner, and the beach club is that whole side of the harbor to the north. Great beach with ballroom club house and 200 foot dock.
This is going to be a great time with everybody’s help and support.
