I have to agree with you. The space would allow the gas to roll. The other issue is you would have to cut the tank open and remove the baffels to make it work. After reading all the posts about cutting open the tanks and then coating them inside is fine. My question is, how do you make sure the cut is sealed correctly and then you have to make sure the top is secured right so it doesn,t leak on the seam you just created. Best bet is to somehow start from scratch. Tony Meola.
