I have a SS 1/2 tower and Paul (Capy) pointed out the inferior (repair) welds to me and also explained what happens when SS is heated too much. It becomes plain steel as I recall and you can tell by the color. Unskilled welders messed up my 1/2 tower. My .02 is that a properly welded SS tank is fine and for the price someone posted earlier, not too expensive.
I had 18 gal alum tanks made and the welder insisted on putting in baffles.
Earlier, I posted pixs of a fuel tank cut open, it has baffles (all tanks do), forget about bladders.
