Ourside of the cost little as I can see and what Patrick has told me. I can only speak of the Bertram 's 1" thick closed cell deck.
Druck just basic carpentry . Yes it has to match the grade. Just make sure you have proper clearences under the deck for fuel tank stuff etc. Most installers prefer to raise the deck 1/4 to 1/2 depends on your particular installation requirements.Just make sure it has about a 1/2" grade from forward to aft for drainage.
