Look, we ain't fools here, we been down the road. Take that damn dinky ass tin cup off the bottom, all it's gonna do is catch spray and rust, keep you from seeing the bowl, and the "fire protection" is about one nano second vs. the other. And unscrew that chickensh*t broke dick plastic valve out of the bottom of the plastic bowl and put a simple 90 degree on/off ball valve in there to drain the crud & water - after all, that's what the doggone Racor is for. A couch potato engineer designed the MA who never owned a boat.
