Sorry about your misfortune.Well aware of the ficht disaster and until I bought Targeted Species w/Oceanrunners,I had never owned anything but black outboards. Because of that I researched the E-Tecs thoroughly. Until your post never heard anything but praise.However one of my reasons for purchasing now (before Mar. 31 deadline) is to get the seven year warranty.Hope this won't be another situation,where like Vic, you'll be telling me "I told you so".
