If you do not plan on air conditioning a third battery as I have may be just the ticket. To run my 1500 watt continous inverter (small refegerator and very occasional use of the microwave)It cost me a little over $500 for the wire, battery switch etc with the third 8D battery. The extra 8D is mounted between the engines under the walkway.8D has twice or more of reserve time but the solid batteries last twice as long in total life and weigh half as much The blow boaters Hondagen is not practical for me. Withsalt spray over the bow you may be just throwing away $869 otherwise putting it elsewhere you have noise and fumes. If you want air conditioning cheap like the blow boaters it will work for you but safety is a real concern.Your saving $3,000 by this method but look at your risks and longivity and no extra resale value either.
