had a great year in the northeast canyons.my new set up after looking like a chinese fire drill with 5 knockdowns is 4 50vsw with 200yards dacron,700yards of 60lbs momoi hi-catch in green hi-vis than 30'of fluorocarbon.than two 50vsw with tuf-line xp-65lbs hi-vis yellow on bent butt rods mounted in the rod holders closest to the trasom,these two rods pull the spreader bars.finally the 80stw in the center rigger for way back with 80lbs trilene big game and 40'of fluorocarbon (set up for marlin).i think the tuna talk to each other "hey guys when we hit these lures lets try to cross each other !!!!"i would never go to offshore without hi-vis.easy for the novice in the cockpit to see what the hell is happening.
