Thanks for the help. Sounds like I will have to learn about pulse widths and duration corresponding with engine RPM and load. I would have dropped the money for the 9000 series based on its capabilities.

What company makes other gauge/tool that reads engine data? What is the price? I am curious to learn more about this. Thanks, Kevin
