Dick,
What flybridge? The boat was a Bahia Mar. Maybe you meant the helm? I agree the boat is looking awesome. Ray has tricked out the boat in several ways. One that is most interesting is the elimination of the cockpit scuppers and routing cockpit drainage through the exhaust system. He also plans to modify the cabin port windows as well. Add to that a pair of outboard mounted 30 gal saddle tanks in the cockpit, his own home made dorade boxes, AC, and generator and you have one well thought, well planned boat. As for the tower, I've mentioned before that any tower that goes on Windstar will not be one of those mile high in the sky jobs, which is what came off this boat. Just my personal preference. Anyway, after finding out that almost all of our fiberglass tanks are at risk, I stopped back at my yard and made plans to have my tank done this year. And it's not so much of a time bomb for the tanks to let go as it is for the motors to fail some 40 miles or more offshore, which would probably happen first. Still trying to figure out if aluminum is the correct choice for the future.Harv
