Chiles, thanks for the generous offer. I'm going to try to discuss with the folks at Soundown. After hearing about weight, I may be better off with the 1" stuff. MY hatches are about 4ft by 3ft and are already heavy to pull up (replacing the bolt with a hoop would help).

If I wind up needing the 2" stuff I'll be giving you a call.
