John,

I just finished doing the 2" Soundown on my B31.

It is heavy! It also works.

If I recall, there is a 1.5" material, too but the 2" is guaranteed to work.

If you go this way, make sure you get extra anchor pins. They can be accidently bent twice, then the pin will break off. (That's the voice of experience)

It is also recommended to gasket around the engine areas wherever possible to eliminate sound "leakage".
