John, You will need at least a 5" in and out on the mufflers, and also enlarge the openings on the baffles inside to give less restriction. As far as the shafts each boat has a little different length. Once you mount your engine measure from the coupler face to the end of the cutlass in the strut,then the machine shop can figure total length with the taper.
