Plexiglass wind/spray screen replacement

The wind/spray screen on my B28 is cracked and in need of replacement. Last weekend I loosened one of the dozen or so screws connecting it to the bridge and found, as usual, it is a little more complicated than it seems.

In fact each of the "screws" is a machine style bolt that compresses two gaskets when screwed into what I assume is an insert behind the bulkhead. Like this:

I can unscrew all the bolts. The inserts and their gaskets seem like they will be fine. (though they have adhered slightly to the plexiglass) However the "exterior" gaskets are another story. They have stiffened and adhered to the bolts and the right thing to do might be to remove and replace them.

I guess all I'm asking for is experiences and/or tips from those who have done a replacement.
