Dan,

I agree with your thinking on this and I would like the extra power. I'm more concerned about the extra weight of the open array up top. I do have a plate welded in my hardtop, but I can certainly see the great stress that would be put on it in heavy seas.

How about opinions on the 4' array mounted up top. How many guys have such a setup? Any problems?
