Transome/side pieces

We would like to replace the transome panels and the side panels inside the cockpit area. I would like to replace with those trick panels from 31bertram.com but just cant go with that price right now
Our boat currently has a formica type material glued onto a piece of thin plywood but have not been able to find the same material. Any ideas on where I can find that or is there someother material that will not cost to much.
