I have a Raytek MiniTemp MT6 that I got on eBay for about $50. The orignial unit was bad, but the manufacturer (Fluke/RayTek) made good on it eventually.

Like most of these guns, I suppose, it has a single-point laser and an 8-to-1 cone (from 8 inches from your target, the gun averages the temperature within a 1-inch-diameter circle. I've seen the more expensive Raytek models that have multiple-point lasers that draw a circle so you can see over what area the temperature is being averaged.

With all the hassle of dealing with the eBay seller and Fluke, I wish I had dealt with Chris Pague like the other Faithful.
