Changing the subject.. Read your post.. I just bought a Bert 33 FBC which is berthed in Charleston in the Daniel Island Marina.. I need to get hauled in a yard in the area where I can work on the boat myself (the boat can only be insured for Builder's Risk since I have so much work to do, and that requires it to be on the hard). Presently it is in the Charleston City Boatyard (ex Halsey and Cannon) yard where it was hauled for the survey. With the new ownership they don't allow you to work on your own boat

Do you know of any yards capable of hauling a 24,000 lb boat around Charleston that accept DIYers?
