One thing I didn't mention. I used Goldspar satin, and I like the satin finish. The satin doesn't have the same UV inhibitors the gloss has, and I think its a little "leass clear" (more yellow). If I were doing it again, I'd experiment with a few coats of gloss first, followed by a final coat of satin. I like hte look of satin, but the best thing about satin I've learned is that scratches don't show.
