Rumrunner placed 2nd in that same tournament in 1987 with Rumrunner 42 Bertram, 290 # and 125# Mako, got beat by some ugly Tigar shark at 780#. back then it was a small friendly tourament. Have plenty of pics if anyone is interested. A 31 is real close to the water to mess with a real mad Mako I know because a big Mako tried to jump in the cockpit of that 42.

I am thinking of entering the 38 in the tourament, I can tell you that winning a shark Tourament depends on having a real experenced crew. Just like the old saying " Hours of Boredom interrpted by minutes of shear terror".
