ok here goes.

I had done a favor for Charlie last year. He had obtained 2 Bertram nameplates from somewhere and said they were mine in return for the favor. Now mind you, Charlie had them riding around in his car for a few weeks. Anyway, the day he gives them to me, I put them on the passenger seat of my van. Later that day when I got home I went to take them out of the van and for some reason they slipped between the seat and the backrest. Now , I don't know when it happened but either on taking them off the seat or while they were still on the seat, I somehow managed to break both of them in half.

And there you have it.
