I am fairly confident with the motors. Hearing it start up and run on the stand helps. It is more about the installation and not having the proper transmission. I have air and powertools so I could take out or modify the beds. I tend to also try and save money. Like you, I only burned about 140 gallons of fuel from July To December. Talk about not fishing or cruising. I have learned a great deal on this website and through mostly just not being afraid to work hard. Still undecided though. Going to see what kind of deals I can get. I especially want to hear from Bill since he has been there, done that. Oh yeah, I am painting the boat also. Since January 1 I have removed all stainless, blocked up fly bridge removed all calking, dive platform and sanded about 80% of boat up to 220 grit along with filling and fairing. Just about ready for primer. Disconnected and removed my old engines in about three hours and 15 minutes. Working full time job along with paint and repower project keeps me plenty busy. Kevin
