Unless you plan on running over 100 miles each way like me on Florida's Gulf coast you will not need the extra tanks which means more weight(you always have to keep them full, unless you want water in the fuel)I added a 58 gallon aux tank under the main deck and added another 452 pounds . But for me with only a 217 gallon(useable)main tank I did it. Boy these projects start out one way and end up another way. I ended up loosing 900 plus pounds but gained back 700 pounds with the extra tank, freg,microwave, another 8 D battery and some more wire etc.etc. etc.
Andre and others have saddle tanks in the gunnel. Also on some models you can put one under the salon floor(mine is too shallow)or between the engine area under the walkway is another area.
Looking back on my project I wish I could have did it another way but it works OK. I had to add ballast on my starboard side a little for safety.Now you have some thinking to do but more information than had for sure. Dave K
