Just like Harv said, We have a bahia mar with the 315 yanmars and run to the hudson and back from moriches on about 100 gallons for a day trip. The most we have burnt to date is 120 gallons for a full overnight trip to the 150/050 area of the hudson that is with a good 12 hours of trolling and we had nasty seas on the way home only making about 16 knots. You will not need an extra tank, unless you would like to run further maybe to Toms, or Atlantis like Mike said.
