As I mentioned a few weeks ago, my 16 year old son, Michael, and I will be in Paris and London Feb 16-26. Aside from the opportunity to open his eyes to the world a little bit, I look forward to checking out the attitudes and opinions we'll encounter. Without Mom along, I intend to cover ground from high to low (well, not too low....he's only 16). Should get a good cross-section.

On Monday the 20th, we're making a long day's train trip from Paris to the D-Day beaches around Caen, Point du Hoc, etc. I expect we'll grow a few attitudes and opinions there ourselves after visiting the American Cemetery at St. Laurent.
