Do it the same way you would do an AC oulet in your home. Only two things you should do.1) Use a good quality marine wire. 2) I like to use solder on all my boat connections and use liquid tape. You do not have to but if you use wire nuts use the CRC Electrical grease or silicon dielectric grease in the wire nut for corrsion protection. Same holds true for the duplex outlet itself use an anti-oxident as mentioned on all connections. Remember it's on a boat not a climate controlled house. Gotta make it waterproof. Dave K
