Best bet is to check on boatdiesel.com. You'll find much needed information there. All in all, I haven't heard real bad things about those engines. Now the 3116's ,forget them. Moucho problems. Start with boatdiesel.com first and read the reports on that engine under forums for that particular model. Dave K
