Bilge Pump Mount Installation Question

The problematic bilge pump wiring issue on Shambala has been dealt with and appropriately rewired. The two bilge pumps are now independently wired with connections directly to the battery. For those of you who remember the mysterious white wire that I failed to remember where it came from, it WAS a hot wire. It went to a diaphram pump and was connected to the transom bilge pump switch for the hot connection. That has been corrected.

I'm now ready to install the new Rule 2000 bilge pump in the area under the v-berth floor. This will give me a third bilge pump with wiring that is independent of any other systems. I have fashioned a piece of teak to fit in the bilge area under the v-berth floor that the new bilge pump and float switch will mount to. I have encased the piece of teak in three coats of epoxy and have the grey Bilgecote so that I can paint it to match the rest of the bilge area once it is installed. The only question now is how to mount it.

The existing mount for the bilge pump under the floor in the main cabin is mounted on a piece of wood that has been bedded in epoxy. The area under the piece of wood is solid epoxy so no water can flow under it.

My question is this: Should I mount the piece of teak by 1) bedding it in 5200, 2) bedding it in epoxy mixed with colloidial silica, or 3) bed it with colloidial silica and then glass the whole piece in with fiberglass cloth?

Thanks in advance.
