Well I'm into it!
I have suprised myself that I have actually carried on "picking at" the project boat. Been learning alot about fibreglassing -the hard way.
One thing I can't seem to get a handle on is getting the cloth to go round the eges of the half inch ply nicely. I've rounded them off but still not a job to be proud of in the end.
One question is when using half inch ply, is it necessary to go right round the eges anyway? With the aft bulkheads for example does it really matter as certainly the bottom edges will ultimately be filled with epoxy and tabbed to the hull anyway?
Whats the trick? Is it even practical or necessary when using half inch?
Leme know guys,
JJ
