Flybridge Enclosures

I was just wonder the general thought on using EZ2CY (front and 1/2 of sides, strataglass on the rest) with a Bimini enclosure?

In talking with the canvas guy, he tells me I can expect to get 10 years before anything may need to be done??

I had been considering a hardtop, but then adde up the price of the top and the enclosure ad that was close to $12-15k.
