Cummins 4BTA 250HP

HAVE ANY OF YOU RUNNING THE 250HP 4BTA ENGINES HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE SHERWOOD RAW WATER PUMPS OTHER THAN REGULAR IMPELLER CHANGES. I HAVE HEARD THAT THE BEARINGS ARE LIKELY TO FAIL AFTER APPROX 5 YEARS REGARDLESS OF ENGINE HRS. ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED
