Harv, I think you're right about filling the cracks first- thanks for the advice. Now I have to decide whether to gelcoat or paint. I really don't want the teak box, even if I can make it look pretty, as it looks out of place there to me. Below is a picture of what it looks like now, currently with some tape over the holes in it to stop up the leaks.

So, epoxy fill, then thinned epoxy seal, then un-thinned epoxy seal. After sanding and finising to get it smooth, what sort of paint would you guys recommend? Or gelcoat? I want that sucker to look like it's a part of the molded bridge hood.
