i should have explain myself better.i have mufflers as a baffle for a surge of water. noise is not inportant to me and i cannot use a surge tube because of the genset mounted on the port side and the gin pole on the starboard.every second or 3rd trip to the canyon usually 3pm when every body is exhausted half asleep thats when the reel spools with a swordfish or tuna put one engine into reverse and the other is history ONE TEASPOON of water by by 30,000 dollars that is why i insist on mufflers been there see that.------------------bob
