I would like to see a pic of the tanks baffles. It will give me an idea as to what I am up against, removing and fabrication.

As to all tanks being eaten up at the same time, my problem started two seasons ago. Almost a full season prior to others.

My thoughts on running the boat and waiting to see what happens. If it where me I would be leary to use the boat, especially offshore. Actually, it was me. My engines seemed to run fine with little hints of problems here and there. Coming home slow from dinner is one thing on a nice night, but a 30-40 mile run from offshore in sloppy seas to escape a front moving in is another story. Then there is the knowledge the tank may rupture, thats a whole new set of problems.

Diesel is not an option for some of us. If the boat only has a potential to be used a night or 2 a week and an offshore trip here and there do to limited time, why dump 40-60 thousand into the conversion?
