Scott,
You know I'll be there. I can't believe you've only got about a half dozen takers so far. Martha's Vineyard is great, have always had a blast there. Sign up, people- this is going to be a good one.
I think that the dinner at the yacht club by the marina is a great idea- a nice place, but not too swanky for those of us that like things simple. Do they still have those guys that do the New England clambake party dinners there? Don't know what you had in mind, but just a thought.
I remember the last time I was there. Was the summer of 2004, and we were getting your B31 ready to ride out the remnants of Hurricane Charley that were blowing in. We decided to move the Sheriff's boat from a slip to a mooring, so you could have the bigger slip for your boat. You had me get on the Sheriff's boat to tie it off, and you were about to pull it and me over to a mooring with the marina tender, when you uttered something I thought I'd never hear you say: "Um...maybe you shouldn't bring your beer on this boat ride." Don't want to ever hear that again dammit!
FYI- got the radar installed on the B33 down here, will attach a pic. We're almost ready for the Bahamas trip this March.
Looking forward to using that Traenkle Autopilot system again. No wiring, no waypoints, no power, and the system automatically steers the boat right where you want it to go. It runs only on beer and Jimmy Buffett.
